The new Battlegrounds for the seasonal activity were well-received, and the post-campaign content, including the exceptional Avalon exotic mission, provided the challenging, rewarding, and narratively interesting content that the base campaign lacked.

The introduction of Guardian Ranks and the overhaul of the build-crafting and mod systems were universally praised.
